Details are supposed to be subtle, they don’t shout ‘here I am, look at me!’. Instead they are meant to quietly enhance the overall design and function without fuss. But we’re quite proud of the many details on the new Ibiza. So, please excuse us as we shout about these small heroes. Without them things just wouldn’t be practical. The list includes a striking new dashboard layout; driver sun visor with mirror; split folding rear bench*’ courtesy light; sleekly designed new roof handles in the front and rear; and boot light. Eventually, you’ll take them all for granted. But we don’t mind – that was the idea.

Equipped to feel every beat of the road

We are not suggesting that you’re not the perfect driver but the new Ibiza has the latest technology, to aid your senses. Such as the NEW SEAT IBIZA Electronic Stability Programme (ESP)*, which keeps a watchful eye on things and reacts accordingly to ensure safety and accuracy on every turn. There is also speed-sensitive power assisted steering, where the steering is heavily assisted at low speed and lighly assisted at high speed. This gives you extra input when parking, but a firmer grip when on the move. We’ve also included the latest generation of ABS to add to your command of the road. But even though we’ve used the latest technology, we have also ensured that the driving experience you get is still entirely natural.
